There are two large items on this week’s calendar out of the UK with tomorrow’s CPI and Thursday’s BoE. But bulls just could not wait, and the early-week bullish breakout opens the door to what should be an interesting week around the British Pound.
The Euro looks vulnerable to deeper losses against the British Pound having broken support guiding the near-term trend higher since early January.
The ASX 200 index remains firmly in the downtrend channel which has been in place since February. However it’s hovering above some interesting support levels too.
The German and French benchmark indices are both struggling to put together rallies through key thresholds, looking ready to make good on bearish price action.
