XE Market Analysis: North America – Sep 28, 2018

The Dollar and Yen have continued to rally against most other currencies. The USD index (DXY) was slightly off its highest but still showing a 0.4% gain heading into the New York interbank open. EUR-USD continued what is now a three-day tumble in posting a 16-day low at 1.1581. The Euro has also been trading lower against other currencies, which has been concomitant with a spike in Italian yields amid concerns about the credibility of the coalition government’s budget.
