The pound came under heavy Brexit-related pressure during the London morning, while the dollar and yen outperformed their peer group. Stock markets in Europe and U.S. equity index futures tumbled, while Asian equities mostly closed higher. Cable dropped over 1% in pegging a four-week low at 1.3023, while EUR-GBP rallied to a three-week high at 0.9047. The pound fell against the other European currencies, the yen and dollar bloc currencies.
