XE Market Analysis: North America – Nov 21, 2018

The Dollar has traded mixed, gaining versus the Yen while losing ground to Dollar Bloc currencies, with a rebound in European equity markets and S&P 500 futures facilitating some squaring out of risk-off positioning. EUR-USD recouped to near 1.1400 from the 113.58 low see yesterday, while USD-JPY lifted back above 113.00 during the London AM session. Most Yen crosses have also lifted, too. Sino-U.S. trade tensions remain on the boil, with the Trump administration saying that China had “no altered” its alleged predatory trade practices.
