XE Market Analysis: North America – Jun 26, 2018

The dollar traded broadly firmer during the London AM session, although holding at near net unchanged levels in the case against the yen. The narrow trade-weighted USD index (DXY) was showing a gain of 0.3% as of the early European PM, which followed a run of three consecutive down sessions. EUR-USD corrected from a 12-day high at 1.1721 that was seen during the pre-London session in Asia, ebbing to a low of 1.1651. A recovery in stocks and an associated abatement in trade protectionist anxieties has — for now — helped the dollar rebound some.
