The dollar ramped higher, driving the USD index (DXY) to a 16-week high at 91.90 and EUR-USD to a 16-week low at 1.2064. This is the biggest weekly loss EUR-USD has seen since the week of November 13th-17th last year. Cable concurrently logged a six-week low, and AUD-USD a four-month low. USD-CHF is trading at four-month highs, while USD-JPY carved out a new 11-month high, although dollar gains against the Japanese currency have been relatively muted so far.
