The Dollar majors have been trading mixed and in generally narrow ranges against a backdrop of mostly stock markets, which are finishing a bad month with something of a flourish. Chinese stock markets managed a second day of gains, despite the official October manufacturing PMI falling to 50.2, the lowest since July 2016 and down from 50.8 in the month prior. The SSE index closed today with a gain of 1.4%, but this still left the index nursing a near 9% loss on the month.
