The FX Market was relatively quiet into the Fed announcement, with narrow ranges holding up for the major Dollar pairings. Later, the dollar inched lower then bounced following the FOMC announcement, where interest rates were left unchanged, as expected. The statement kept a December rate hike remained on the table, but did say growth of business fixed investment has moderated from its rapid pace earlier in the year. USD-JPY dipped to 113.78 from 113.90 before printing 113.97 highs, while EUR-USD edged up to 1.1410 from just under 114.00, before dropping to 1.1375.
