The DXY rallied from 96.38 lows into the open, later peaking at 96.63. EUR-USD fell from 2-week highs of 1.1359 to 1.1326 lows, as USD-JPY steadied in morning trade, later dipping toward 111.30. USD-CAD headed to 1.3359 from 1.3316, despite new highs in oil prices. Cable sagged under 1.3200 from 1.3300 highs.
