The USD overall edged a bit higher through the morning session ahead of the FOMC announcement, seeing the DXY rise to a high 0f 92.00, and up from pre-open lows of 91.82. Higher Treasury yields ahead of the Fed were supportive of the USD, as the 10-year note rate hit its highest in 13-months. USD-JPY moved up to just shy of the nine-month high of 109.36 seen on Monday, while EUR-USD was range bound, though off its highs. Cable dropped to 1.3860 from over 1.3720. USD-CAD meanwhile, topped at 1.2490, up from early lows of 1.2460.
