FX trade was thin and choppy on the last trading day of the year, though the greenback remained in sell-mode into 2018. EUR-USD topped at new three-month highs of 1.2013, up from 1.1983 lows, while USD-JPY traded near 112.50 before pooping to 112.67 highs into the London close. USD-CAD printed fresh two-month lows of 1.2526, while cable topped at December highs of 1.3544. The dollar turned lower versus the euro, pound, CAD and CHF, though rallied versus the yen right around 11:00 EST, coinciding with the London 4:00 PM FX fix.
