The dollar ebbed back some after pegging fresh recovery highs against the euro and some other currencies. The narrow trade-weighted USD index fell back to levels around 93.50 after posting an eight-day high at 93.79. EUR-USD concurrently lifted back to the mid 1.1700s after carving out a nine-day low at 1.1711. USD-CAD dropped back to 1.3300 after earlier posting an intraday high at 1.3361, which is an 80 pip gain on the eight-day low seen on Tuesday. Front-month WTI futures lifted back towards the eight-day peak seen yesterday at $42.40.
