The Dollar majors have held narrow ranges so far today amid a backdrop of deteriorating risk appetite in global markets. The S&P 500 closed on Wall Street yesterday with a 0.7% loss, and futures of the index are showing a further 0.3% decline in overnight trading. Chinese and Australian equity indexes have managed to retain some buoyancy on the back of Beijing’s stimulus pledges, though most bourses across the Asia region are down. Japan’s Nikkei 225 finished 0.7% for the worse, and South Korea’s KOPSI by 0.5%.
