The Dollar faded on fresh trade and shutdown worries early in the N.Y. session on Thursday, though later rallied higher, despite a mostly lower Wall Street. White House advisor Kudlow sounded upbeat on trade talks, countering Commerce Sec Ross’ earlier comment that the U.S. and China “miles and miles apart” on trade talks. EUR-USD fell to one-month lows of 1.1290 from 1.1381. USD-JPY faded to 109.43 lows early, before bouncing to 109.75. USD-CAD steadied in the mid-1.33s, while Cable eased into 1.3015 from over 1.3055.
