The Dollar was mostly lower in N.Y. on Thursday, with some soft-ish data weighing some, and profit taking setting in after the DXY made four-session highs on Wednesday. Incoming data included as softer ADP jobs reading, a widened trade deficit, and a higher than forecast initial jobless claims outcome. The DXY fell to 96.56 lows from 97.20 highs in London. EUR-USD rallied to 1.1412 highs before easing back some, while USD-JPY stayed heavy, bottoming at 112.24 on another Wall Street meltdown. USD-CAD came off its 18-month high of 1.3445, bottoming at 1.3379. Cable topped at 1.2805.
