XE Market Analysis: North America – Dec 03, 2018

The Dollar has traded mixed, recovering from intraday losses against the Euro and Sterling, among other currencies, while reversing an Asia-opening gap higher in the case against the Yen, and losing ground to the Dollar bloc and most emerging-market currencies, which outperformed strongly as risk appetite was revived by news that the U.S. and China reached a “truce.” A 5% rally in oil prices was in the mix. EUR-USD has retreated below 1.1350 area after capping out a 1.1380 high, which left the highs from late last week at 1.1397-1.1401 unchallenged.
