The dollar firmed up some overall in N.Y. trade on Friday, support generally by safe-haven flows, the result of another Wall Street selloff. The DXY climbed to 90.56 highs from opening levels near 90.20. EUR-USD bottomed at 1.2206 from 1.2279 highs before bouncing to 1.2235, while USD-JPY remained correlated to equities, hitting 108.05, five-month lows. USD bounced to 1.2687 highs on a sofr Canada jobs report, and remained firm as WTI crude prices sank under $59.00. Cable bottomed at 1.3765.
